An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c. AD 1500 - 1650. The buckle is one half of a double looped oval with a recessed bar. One half of the frame is lost to worn breaks. A moulded acorn knop is present on the outer edge of the remaining loop. Moulded projections are also present to either end of the bar. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a dark brown/green patina and is worn. The buckle is 36.3mm long, 38.4mm wide, 3mm thick and weighs 7g. A silver Post-Medieval twopence of Charles II dating to the period AD 1676. Crowned three interlinked C’s reverse. Mint of London. Spink (2012), p.341, no.3388. The coin is pierced at 12 o’clock on the obverse. Some pierced/modified coins can come within the remits of Treasure Act 1996, including all finds of pierced silver or gold coins up to AD 1180 and some thereafter depending upon the nature of the piercing. Pierced medieval and later silver coins are however fairly common single finds and many are also known from hoards.

A complete copper-alloy mount of probable Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 – 1700. The mount is sub-pyramidal with a square base and side which taper upward to a raised knop terminal set within a circular recess. Each of the four sides has an inverted triangular recess. The base is flat and undecorated. The metal has a dark green patina and is worn. The object is 21.1mm long, 20.6mm wide, 8.2mm thick and weighs 10.5g. No direct parallel for this object could be found at the time of recording.

A complete copper-alloy strap fitting of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1600. The mains plate is asymmetrical and curvilinear, tapering from a wide flared trilobed terminal to a narrower bifid terminal from which a circular sectioned forward-facing hook extends. The hook terminates in a globular knop. It is decorated on the front surface with a series of incised curved lines spanning outwards from the centre resulting in a foliate pattern. It is hollow though retains organic material as a result of its deposition. Two circular perforations are present, close to the knop, at opposite point of the chape. The object is undecorated. The metal has a mid-green/brown patina and is worn. The chape is 32.9mm long, 22.3mm wide, 1.3mm thick and weighs 17.1g.
