A Post Medieval silver threepence of Charles II (AD1660-1685) dated AD 1679. Obverse: Laureate bust facing right, draped. The coin has been punched from the reverse to the obverse. The pierced hole is at 4 o'clock on the obverse, adjacent to the chin and on the obverse appears at 2 o'clock (to the lower right of the crown). This suggests that the coin was possibly worn as jewellery. Die axis 6. Spink (2002:p.314) no:3386.

An almost complete post-medieval copper-alloy book clasp, dating from circaAD 1550-1600AD. This clasp is sub-rectangular in plan and is formed of two cut sheet copper-alloy plates riveted together. The front plate is roughly rectangular in shape with a flared stepped end that has three pierced circular holes arranged in a line. The holes are approximately 2.4mm in diameter. The frame has rounded knops on the outer edge of each loop. Each loop is similar in size and shape. The narrowed bar has a small knop at each end. Both faces are undecorated. A complete Post Medieval copper alloy rectangular buckle with integral central bar dating from circa (AD 1600-1700). The buckle is sub-rectangular in plan with double rectangular loops of equal size. At the four corners of the buckle are pointed knops with a trefoil knop at the outer edge of each loop and pointed knops at either end of the strap bar. Three lead alloy shot / balls, of probable post medieval or early modern date (1600-1800AD). The two larger shots are probably from a carbine and the smallest from a pistol. All of the shots are sub spherical in shape and some show evidence of casting seams from the moulds. The two largest probable carbine balls have a rough surface so have probably been fired. A cast lead alloy shot / ball for use in a Carbine of post medieval date circa (AD1600-1800). The shot is spherical with an uneven surface suggesting that it has been fired. There are a number of scars visible, one of which may be the sprue scar. The casting seam is not visible. The shot is a cream to light brown colour. Similar shots have been dated to the later Post Medieval period however the date range should extend into the early modern period as similar projectiles were used in firearms throughout this period. A complete openwork Post-Medieval strap-fitting (belt mount) circa AD 1600 - 1700. The strap fitting has a double-perforated trefoil terminal at one end. At the other end is a triple knop. Across its pointed-oval openwork body is a chevron-shaped bar. On the reverse are two circular knops located at opposite ends of the fitting along the length. An incomplete copper alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date circa AD 1660-1720. The buckle is a sub-annular shoe or knee buckle with a drilled frame for a separate spindle. Only the D-sectioned frame remains which is undecorated, the spindle is missing. The frame has an uneven mid to dark green patina and it is possible that the buckle was once tinned.
