An incomplete cast copper alloy toy, probably a musket or similar firearm of probable post medieval date (1600-1700). The firearm is incomplete and is irregular in plan and profile. It consists of an irregular oval shaped faceted barrel which extends into an ornately shaped irregular broken stock. A broken incomplete cast copper alloy guard from a small-sword or dress sword of late post medieval date (1650 - 1800). Approximately half the guard survives; it is an irregular oval shape in plan being concave / dished in profile and distorted from original shape. On the internal edge are the remains of a rectangular slot through which the tang of the blade passed. It is across this slot that the hilt guard is broken. An incomplete cast copper alloy 'signet' finger ring with engraved seal matrix bezel of probable post medieval or early modern date (1600 - 1800 AD). The hoop of the finger ring was oval (an irregular D shape) in plan and D shaped in cross section; it is now incomplete having been broken across the rear of the hoop and the shape is now heavily distorted. A complete cast copper alloy double looped sub-oval buckle with concave edges. The buckle frame, in plan, is broadly rectangular. The upper surface of the frame is slightly convex. The two loops are broadly the same size, trapezoidal in plan with a flat edge to the strap bar and pointed corners at the four corners of the buckle. A Post Medieval copper alloy pattern half penny of Queen Anne (AD 1702-1714) dating from AD 1705 onwards. The obverse depicts a large bust of Anne facing left. The reverse is a possible depiction of Anne seated with a shield. The legend is not legible and the reverse is too worn to further identify. A complete cast copper alloy toy or miniature cauldron, dating to the late Medieval or early Post Medieval period, circa AD 1400 - 1600. In plan the cauldron is sub-circular with a rounded body and loop handles. The cauldron has a flared rim with a flat rim with rounded edges. The rim tapers inward to the neck before extending again to a rounded body. The base of the body has a slightly sagging base. A complete copper alloy ring or loop which possibly functioned as a curtain fitting of the Late Medieval to Post Medieval period, dating to 15th - 17th centuries. The object is sub circular in plan and is bi-trapezoidal in cross section with rounded and smooth surfaces. The curtain fitting is a dark green in colour, with an abraded surface patina. Similar rings are illustrated in Margeson (1993, p. 82, Fig 47, no: 522-524). Margeson describes them as being suspension rings which were probably multi-functional, including curtain rings. The jetton was struck in Nuremburg by Hans Krauwinkel, master from 10th December 1608 to 4th September 1612 and is of the 1589 series of Franco-allegorical jettons.
