The buckle is sub rectangular in plan and irregular in cross section. It displays a rounded front edge, with a notch acting as a pin rest on the internal edge. The buckle frame is complete and is broadly sub-rectangular in plan with a slight integrally cast central bar to which a pin would have been attached.
