A complete copper alloy possible apothecary weight of Post Medieval dating, circa AD 1600 - AD 1800. The weight is sub square and rectangular in cross section. Edges are bevelled. An incomplete cast lead alloy support for an iron peg, of probable Post medieval dating (17th to 19th Centuries AD). It is irregular in plan and section, consisting of a hollow conical shaped item. The front does demonstrate a recessed rectangular area, similar to that of a finger nail. It measures 33.66mm in height, 29.98mm wide and 19.32mm thick. It weighs 54.8 grams. The probable awl has a circular sectioned shank, with a domed circular head (5.1 mm in diameter), which gradually tapers to a blunt point (1.6 mm in diameter).
