A complete lead or lead alloy local trade weight, of probable Post Medieval dating (17th to 18th Centuries AD). The weight is sub circular in shape, and rectangular in cross section. Multiple concentric circles arranged around a central pellet decorate the upper surface. The reverse is plain and undecorated. Scratches are present, and may imitate lettering. It is a light to mid grey colour, with an even surface patina. It has a diameter of 34.0 mm and is 8.3 mm thick. It weighs 68.6 grams (2.42 oz).

The artefact is sub square in plan, and broadly resembles a square cushion with tassles attached to each corner. Two of the 'tassles' are missing. The front is smooth and may have originally had an embossed design on it. Due to abrasion, this design is unclear. The reverse is rough and exhibits air bubble. The tag is D-shaped in plan with thick sections cut away to make three wide triangular prongs. The sides of the object curve round to form the D-shape before curving upwards to create a knop with a circular perforation which would have acted as a suspension loop as there is a break in it.
