An incomplete white metal or lead-alloy probable furniture fitting of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800).  Less than 25% of the artefact is present. It consists of a hollow tube, with a break at the bottom, extending upwards into a terminal of two (originally three) plumed feathers, with a collar or ribbon at the base.  It measures 45.0 mm in length, 16.0 mm wide and 6.8 mm thick. A zoomorphic or animal head terminal is present at both ends, with a rounded nose, and circular eye.
