An incomplete copper alloy cruciform mount of Post Medieval dating (AD 1600 to AD 1800). The mount is cruciform in shape, with fleur de lis/lys knops on each corner. The front have been decorated with a central pellet surrounded by a circle of pellets, all within a lozenge shaped border. The edges have been bevelled. On the reverse, in the centre, is an integral attachment spike. This is square sectioned and measures 2.5 mm by 3.0 mm.  The mount has a length of 23.6 mm, a width of 24.0 mm and is 9.9 mm thick (including spike), 2.8 mm thick (not including spike. An incomplete copper alloy domed mount or strap fitting, of probable Post Medieval dating (AD 1500 to AD 1700). The mount is sub circular in shape, and domed. No decoration is visible on the front of the mount. The remains of two attachment spikes are located on opposite sides of the reverse.  It measures 15.1 mm in length, 12.2 mm wide and 4.6 mm thick. It weighs 1.2 g. The mount is a mid green to brown colour, with an even surface patina. Abrasion, caused by movement while within the plough soil, has resulted in a loss of some of the original surface detail.

The mount consists of a domed head with six diagonal incised lines, creating a petal like design, each petal has a semi circular lobed projection forming the edge of the petal.
