An incomplete cast lead or lead alloy stopper from a small vessel, probably of Post Medieval to Early Modern dating (16th to 19th Centuries AD). The stopper consists of a semi-circular head, with integrally cast shank beneath. The head measures 21.03mm wide (diameter) by 15.42mm in length and 6.60mm thick. The shank extends beneath the head by 6.25mm. It is incomplete. It has a circular cross section, with a diameter of 6.76mm. It weighs 19.7 grams. An incomplete cast copper alloy rim fragment from a copper alloy large posnet or cauldron of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (1400 - 1700 AD). The rim fragment is irregular in plan, but rectangular in cross section. The internal surface is smooth and polished. The rim type consists of a rounded lip. A casting ridge is present running vertically on the exterior surface, probably from the joining of the two halves of the casting mould.
