An incomplete cast copper alloy sword belt strap fitting, of Post Medieval dating, most likely 16th to 17th Centuries AD. The strap fitting consists of an externally bevelled ring with an octofoil plate joined to it. The octofoil plate has eight corners with alternating arches and angles. A central perforation is present, probably for the rivet for attachment to a belt. Bevelling of the perforation is present on the back of the plate. An incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting or belt mount, of probable Post Medieval dating (c. 1600 to 1800 AD onwards). The strap fitting is circular in plan, but due to soil pressure, is now displaying a lateral warping. It was probably originally flat or slightly domed. A circular hole is present, located off centre, towards the top of the strap fitting. Two small copper rivets have been punched through the strap fitting on either side of the hole. An incomplete cast copper alloy fragment from a hooked strap fitting of probable post-medieval date (1500-1700). The strap fitting is broadly sub-rectangular in plan. The fitting can be divided into two separate parts; the body and the hooked terminal. The hooked terminal is lost and the break is worn and eroded suggested a relatively old break. The body of the fitting is relatively flat with a sub-rectangular cross-section. A complete cast copper alloy zoomorphic belt hook, of Post Medieval dating (1500 to 1700 AD). The belt hook is S shaped with an oval cross section. A zoomorphic or animal head terminal is present at either end, with a slit mouth, curling snout and ears. At the centre of the S is a 'waisted' area of four knops. The belt hook is a mid to dark green colour, with an even surface patina. It has suffered from a degree of abrasion, caused by movement whilst within the plough soil.
