An incomplete cast copper alloy zoomorphic terminal from a pipe tamper, in the shape of a quadruped, probably a dog or a horse, of Post Medieval (1650 - 1750 AD) dating.
The pipe tamper terminal consists of a four legged standing animal figurine, holding its head up vertically and looking forward and the tail curled forwards over its back. The lower part of the figurine (the feet and base) are no longer present, and presumed to have been lost in antiquity. No features (eyes or nose) appear to been have carved. A complete cast copper alloy stud or mount, probably of Medieval to Post Medieval dating but most likely between 16th to 17th Centuries AD.
The stud is circular in plan, and irregular in cross section. It consists of a domed (convex) head (diameter 13.70mm), with the shank attached centrally on the interior surface. The shank is square sectioned, and tapers to a point. It is no longer straight, but has been bent, possibly during fixture to a surface.

An incomplete cast copper alloy strap mount of probable Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD).
The mount is irregular in plan and cross section. It consists of an oval shape, with a pointed triangular knop at one end. The opposing end of the oval has a U-shaped hook. An incomplete cast copper alloy chafing dish handle of Post Medieval dating (16th to 17th Centuries AD).
The handle can be described in two parts: the loop handle and the attachment. The loop handle was originally trapezoidal in plan, and rectangular in cross section. It now consists of a square sectioned bar in a V shape with flattened bottom. The loop attachment would have originally been fixed to the chafing dish vessel wall and consists of a rectangular section with an oval end. A circular hole is present in the oval end, through which the loop handle is located.

A cast copper alloy ring or loop which functioned as a curtain fitting, of Post Medieval dating (15th to 17th Centuries AD).
It is sub-circular in plan with a thick bi-trapezoid section with rounded edges. In profile the loop is flat. There is evidence that the two sides of the mould slipped slightly during the casting process, as the edges are slightly misaligned, with a thin projection into the interior of the ring. The surface has a matte dark brown / dark green abraded surface. The surface has suffered from some abrasion.

An incomplete cast copper alloy jews harp, of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (c. 1400 to c. 1700 AD).
In plan, the jews harp consists of a sub oval head, and two tapering arms, both with the characteristic lozenge cross section. The arms are incomplete, displaying an old break. The rabbet is located at the apex of the head, still containing the remnants of the iron tongue.
The jews harp is mid to dark green in colour, with an even surface patina.
The jews harp measures 30.07mm in length, 21.67mm wide at the head and 3.70mm thick. It weighs 3.7 grams.

A complete spherical lead alloy ball, probably a musket ball, of 17th Century dating.
The lead shot is spherical in nature, displaying a couple of nicks and a small ridge, probably the remnants of the casting process.
It is a mid grey to white colour with an even surface patina.
It has a diameter of 14.96mm and weighs 18.1 grams.
Shot of this type and weight are normally attributed to use with muskets, and of 17th Century dating onwards.

The end cap is circular in plan, and semi circular in cross section. It consists of a half spherical ball with a longitudinal groove down the back of the artefact. The front displays a flattened circular area at the central point.

An incomplete cast copper alloy probable buckle frame, of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (c. 1350 to 1720).
The frame is crescent like in plan, and with a sub circular cross section. The curvature and cross section are indicative that it was originally part of the frame of a double looped (spectacle buckle).
The buckle frame is a dark mid green colour, with an even surface patina. The patina has been abraded in a couple of locations, probably due to time spent in the plough soil.

An incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting or belt mount, of probable Post Medieval dating (c. 1600 to 1800 AD onwards).
The strap fitting is circular in plan, but due to soil pressure, is now displaying a lateral warping. It was probably originally flat or slightly domed. A circular hole is present, located off centre, towards the top of the strap fitting. Two small copper rivets have been punched through the strap fitting on either side of the hole.
