A ridge is present on the reverse, this contains the spindle hole. On the front, the frame is decorated. On the inside are two oval holes, surrounded by a rope style border, with a triangular knop between the holes. The pin has been made from a triangular sheet of copper alloy metal. The wide end would have been folded around the strap bar and is now incomplete. It tapers to a blunt point.
