The obverse reads RICHARD ADNEY IN THE with the City Arms (3 pears) depicted in the centre. An incomplete trade token of mid 17th Century AD dating (AD 1650 -AD 1670). The token is circular in plan, with the centre section removed. Parts of the inscription can be read on the obverse and reverse. The obverse reads: HIS. HALF. PENY [ ]. The reverse reads [ ]OF. WORCESTER. The initial mark is a five petalled flower. These inscriptions are suggestive that this token may have originally been issued by Will Swift, of Worcester in AD 1662 (Williamson, p 496, no 107). It has a diameter of 18.6 mm, and is 1.1 mm thick. It weighs 1.1 g.

A rose is the obverse initial mark. The reverse reads: [ ]1667 / HIS HALF / PENNY. This identifies the token as a half penny token issued by a Gideon Palmer, of Pershore, Worcestershire in AD 1667 (Williamson, 1891, p493, no 57).
