Three complete lead musket balls or shot dating to the Post Medieval period (c. AD 1600-1800), found in close promixity to each other.
All are spherical in nature, with traces of a casting seam and sprue. No teeth marks or flattened areas are visible.
Musket ball 1 has a diameter of 18.3 mm and weighs 33.9 g.
Musket ball 2 has a diameter of 17.1 mm and weighs 28.7 g.
Musket ball 3 has a diameter of 17.5 mm and weighs 31.1 g.
Together they weigh 93.5 g.
All three musket balls are a mid to light grey colour, with an even surface patina.

A complete lead alloy shot or ball, of Post Medieval dating (17th to 18th Centuries AD).
The shot is circular in shape, but both front and back are flattened, preventing it from being fully spherical. The attachment sprue is still present at the top of the shot, and the casting line from the mould is present around the edge of the shot.
It has a diameter of 18.9 mm, and is 16.4 mm thick. It weighs 29.5 g.
The shot is a dark grey colour, with an even surface patina.
