Post Medieval coin: An incomplete struck / hammered copper alloy Ottoman/Turkish coin, of Sultan Madmud II who ruled Hijra between 1223 - 1255 (Islamic calendar) or 1808 - 1839 AD.
A translation of the Arabic inscription on the obverse reads: "Sultan Mahmud Khan, May his victory be glorious". The reverse inscription appears to be illegible.
