A Post-Medieval tinned copper-alloy two piece buckle frame. The buckle is likely to date from 1660 to 1720. A fragment of a copper-alloy candle holder. This curved fragment is straight sided and appears to have originally been cylindrical. A fragment of copper-alloy that is probably part of a Post-Medieval two piece buckle frame or an asymmetrical buckle frame. The fragment has a sub-oval cross-section 4.48mm wide and 2.53mm thick. At the centre of the fragment the width increases to 7.52mm. It is difficult to date such a small fragment but if the piece is from a two piece buckle an approximate date range of eighteenth century or later…

A Copper-alloy, single headed, snake form belt hook. The 'S' shaped hook is in the form of a snake. The tail end curves round more tightly, than the head end, with only a gap of 1.28mm between the end of the tail and the body demonstrating that this was the 'fixed' end. The tail end of the loop is stained with iron corrosion due to the presence of part of the belt fitting surviving. The fragment of belt fitting is iron and consists of a loop (external diameter 14.61mm, internal diameter 7.87mm) surrounding the snake and a bar 16.84mm in length and 4.30mm wide extending from the loop a…

The fragment weighs 21.09g. On the longer and complete side of the loop the diameter increases at the centre point to a maximum of 14.56mm in the form of a band that wraps round the section of the loop.
