A late Medieval to early Post-Medieval incomplete sword belt hook, dating to the 16th century AD. This asymmetrical hook has foliate moulded relief decoration, defined by curvilinear grooves, and two rivet holes, both circular. One rivet hole has a diameter of 2.0mm and the other, that by the break, has a diameter of 1.5mm. The hook has broken off before the recurve. An incomplete lead, or lead alloy, button of 18th century AD date, of a type often made in silver or cut steel (see Bailey, G. 2004 p.65). Compare with PAS record CAM-7EE27C, which has almost identical decoration. This complete object weighs 21.03g. It has a circular shape with diameter of 26.5mm. In profile the button's head has a semi-circular form, convexly domed to the front with a flat reverse. The current maximum thickness over the button is 7.5mm. A lead pencil of Post-Medieval date c. AD 1500-1900. Weight is 15.08g, use of a flexible dress-maker’s tape-measure shows the length to be c.63mm. However, in its bent condition it occupies a bent length of 60.4mm. A Post-Medieval buckle frame, pin missing, dating to c.AD 1620-1680. This is a form of buckle described by Whitehead, R. as a double loop trapezoidal buckle with moulded decoration on the loops. See Whitehead, R. 2003, p.84. This buckle frame weighs 6.28g, has a length of 26.9mm, maximum width of 38.7mm and thickness of 2.5mm.
