A complete cast copper domed thimble. The sides are very slightly flared to the base. The dome is shallow. The rim is bare of indentations and does not have a circumferential groove. The circular indentations have been hand applied in an anti-clockwise spiral from the base to the top. The top is covered in indentations with no "tonsure". A copper alloy toy cannon. The toy cannon is comprised of a circular barrel which tapers slightly in diameter towards the muzzle. At the butt is a rounded, necked knob (cascabel button). Beyond this are two convex collars (the first deeper than the second) with a narrowed section between in which is the circular touch hole (for igniting the explosive charge to fire the piece). An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting or belt mount . An elongated heart shaped mount with a bilobed top and tapering to a break at the base. The front is slightly convex and white-metal coated. The back is slightly flat with two incomplete integral attachment spikes set along the long axis at the rear, both have been bent outwards towards opposite ends. A copper alloy strap fitting. A belt mount. The plate is shield-shaped with scalloped side edges, The upper edge is bilobed and the opposite end is pointed. At the rear are two circular cross sectioned integral rivets set on the midline, both bent inwards. The front of the plate is decorated with an elaborated moulded design of symmetrical curvilinear grooves. Many of these retain traces of gilding. An incomplete lead two-part cloth seal. One disc only survives with an integral rivet on the rear. The front of the disc bears a moulded design of a sexfoil beside a group of pellets over a T-shaped object. At the rear the remaining head of the integral rivet retains part of the design of disc two. This appears to be parts of two letters, possibly IS or SI. An incomplete copper alloy sword belt fitting. The fitting has a central oval plate with a small pierced lobe at the one end and a transverse lobe and incomplete projecting hook at the other. The central oval element has a convex front and hollow rear. There is a circular hole through it on the midline towards the hooked end.
