The cresting is visible through the cetral part of the blade where there is also a dorsal ridge created by a single large orthogonal removal from the left. The flint is opaque and dark grey in colour. The distal end possesses a chlaky white cortex and the small butt is facetted.

Palaeolithic (Upper) to Neolithic (Later) flake-blade, 52mm long, 28mm wide, 14mm thick and 20.4g in weight. Made on a flint/chert that has turned a light chalky grey through patination. This piece has been photographed in the wrong direction giving the impression it is an end scraper, however this end is actuallt the proximal end and no modification has taken place after removal. The butt is plain and quite small and the distal end is large and flat and displays evidence of it being a platform itself. The piece has been struck from a bidirectional blade core. The doral face possesses …

Palaeolithic (Middle) to Palaeolithic (MIddle) point, 52mm long, 32mm wide, 14mm thick and 25.1g in weight. Made on a limestone that is dark grey in colour. The dorsal face of the point has been semi-abruptly retouched around the entire right lateral edge and the distal end and the left edge has received some attention. The point seems to have been made by a non-prepared core technique, possibly a discoidal method.

.Palaeolithic (Middle) to Palaeolithic (MIddle) point, 44mm long, 26mm wide, 9mm thick and 10.6g in weight. Made on a flint that has turned an opaque light greyish cream colour through patination. The ventral face of the point has been semi-abruptly retouched and the left edge has been notched twice, presumably for the purposes of hafting. The point seems to have been made by a prepared core technique different to the Levallois method.

Palaeolithic (Middle) Levallois core, 96mm long, 82mm wide, 47mm thick and 414.3g in weight. Made on a chalky flint riddled with impurities. Like a typical Levallois core one face is hierarchially distinguishable from the other. The upper surface has been centripetally flaked creating a domed profile, their is a large striking platform also. Although no Levallois preferential flake has been removed, one has been attempted. The failed attempt to remove the flake is down to the poor quality of the raw material. This has lead to its abandonment in this state.

Palaeolithic (Lower) to Neolithic (Later) retouched flake, 58mm long, 65mm wide, 14mm thick and 66.3g in weight. Made on flint that has turned a mottled light brown colour through patination. The flake is large and thick with a wide thick dihedral butt. The striking platform possesses some abrasion and the dorsal face is flattish but does possess some flake scarring. The retouch is positioned on the straight distal end of the flake. The ventral face displays a large bulb of percussion and bulbar scar. More likely to be either Middle Palaeolithic or Neolithic.

Palaeolithic (Lower) to Palaeolithic (MIddle)scraper, 48mm long, 64mm wide, 18mm thick and 67.8g in weight. Made on a chert-like material that has turned almost completely dark brownish grey through patination, apart from one small area where the original mid brown colour remains. The piece has been made on a large thick flake of Palaeolithic origin and is lightly retouched along the distal end. Flake scars on the dorsal face indicate parallel flaking methods and the butt shows evidence of preparation.
