Four flint flakes that are the result of flint working but that have not been worked into tools themselves. All have irregular chipped surfaces or wear which may have been caused by being on a beach at some point. It is not possible to suggest a specific date for these flakes. 1) Blade which is 63.7mm long, 25.4mm wide and 13.9mm thick. A flint scraper which may date from the Late Paleolithic or Early Mesolithic periods. It is sub oval, pointed at one end, and is very curved, the ventral face being convex. It is 38.8mm long, 16mm wide and 8.3mm thick. The flake is a secondary flake with cortex on the dorsal face. The striking platform seems to be in the middle of one of the long sides, not at the end. There are vertical removal scars at the left hand end of the dorsal face, and lateral removal scars at the same end on the ventral face.
