Acheulian Handaxe, heavily patinated and iron stained, mid-brown. Bifacially worked, butt thick, pointed form, with cortex on end of butt and within a hollow on one face. Lower Palaeolithic c. 500,000-250,000 BP. Length 147mm, Width 75mm, Thickness 63mm, Mass 618.2g.

Flint scraper, dark grey, mid-brown, light grey, opaque flint. Bulb of percussion low. Retouch around curved edge and up one side (retouch; short, scaled, abrupt). Length 51mm, Width 48mm, Thickness 13mm, Mass 44.04g. The surfaces of this object are glossy, suggestive of 'desert gloss'. This scraper could be Palaeolithic.

Fragment of a bifacially worked flint handaxe consisting of the butt which has been removed from the axe with a flat, 90 degree fracture. Made from a mid-brown, opaque, flint with light brown mottling. Some cortex present on both faces and on the line of the fracture.
