A flint thumb nail scraper of probable Late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age date (2400 BC - 2200 BC). The opaque dark brown flint is a worked tertiary flake with some of the core remaining. It is sub-semi-circular in plan and triangular in cross-section. There is short, scaled, semi-abrupt retouch on the curved distal end and sides, with scaled removals on the dorsal face.The length is 41mm, the width is 40mm and the weight 5.55g.
