An incomplete fragment of flintworking debris of Mesolithic to early Bronze Age date. It is large and broad with a rounded distal end. There are narrow flaking scars on both faces covered in a heavy patination. There is an abrupt break across the proximal end removing the butt and a few smaller scars revealling the light brown-grey flint beneath, but these are probably plough damage rather than deliberate later working.
