A complete Neolithic to early Bronze Age flint borer. It is formed on a secondary flake with cortex still covering part of the dorsal face. There is a small amount of crude, irregular retouch at both ends of the right edge of the ventral face creating two short spurs for boring holes. It has a narrow butt and no clear bulb of percussion. The flint is dark grey in colour with a shiny patina.
