A complete flint scraper of probable Neolithic to early Bronze Age date. A tertiary, sub-circular flake, struck with a hard hammer and with a bulb scar on the ventral face. A ridge runs across the centre of the outer face from one end to the other. There is short, abrupt, scaled retouch around the distal end and extending along the full extent of both sides of the dorsal face. There is a small amount of mottled patination on the surface, which also has a shiny gloss. Length: 42.8mm, width: 36.2mm, thickness: 8.2mm, weight: 18g

A complete flint late Neolithic to early Bronze Age flint implement, possibly a knife. It is roughly triangular in shape with a shorter straight side and two outwards curving longer sides. It is oval in cross-section and bifacially worked. There is low angle, scaled retouch covering both faces with a small amount of cortex remaining in places on both. There is an unworked section on one face behind the straight side, which is still covered with a thick whitish patina. The two longer sides coverge to produce a rounded point with some damage around it. The flint is a mottled dark grey c…

An incomplete flint implement, probably a scraper, of probable Neolithic to early Bronze Age date. It is roughly triangular in shape with a rounded point at the distal end and is formed on a secondary flake with cortex still covering the right side of the dorsal face. There are long, narrow flaking scars on the dorsal face and very fine, short, low angle, parallel retouch along the left side of the dorsal face. There is an abrupt break across the proximal end and the fragment was probably part of a larger implement originally. The flint is grey-brown in colour. Length: 35.08mm, wid…

A complete flint (probable) Neolithic to early Bronze Age flint implement. It is pentagonal in shape with a long, pointed left side, which appears to have been formed deliberately via the removal of a flake on each side. The object may therefore have functioned as an awl or borer of some kind, but as there is little other evidence of retouch it is difficult to offer a formal identification. Several small flakes have been removed from each face and from the right edge of the dorsal face. It is mid-grey in colour with an unusually shiny patina. Length: 61.87mm, width: 39.84mm, thickn…
