A complete flint probable Neolithic or early Bronze Age flake. It is a secondary flake with coarse pebble cortex remaining at the distal end of the dorsal face. There is a central ridge running the length of the centre of the dorsal face with flaking scars to either side. There is a prominant, small bulb of percussion on the ventral face with a narrow platform at the proximal end. Two small flakes also appear to have been removed deliberately on the right side creating a slight point - perhaps a deliberate attempt to create a borer.
