Polished stone axe. It is regular in shape. The butt end appears to have been deliberately flattened and both faces of the blade show signs of re-grinding. The stone is mottled but an overall dusky yellow green colour. It is a typical Group I axe of probable Cornish origin.

The tip of the object has broken away. The object is mid-grey in colour and in good condition. It can be dated to about 2600 - 2000 BC.

The rounded end has been polished however it is difficult to say if that has come through use of this piece or if it was there before this piece was taken off the parent. A flint implement dating to the late Neolithic period, (2500-2100BC). The implement is an arrowhead and is sub-triangular in plan. The object is thin and rectangular in cross-section. The point of the arrowhead has broken away. The dorsal face displays ridges and scars of earlier removals. The ventral face of the object appears smooth and a few ripple marks can be seen radiating from the left side of the implement. Evidence of retouching can be seen on both sides of the object. The object has a light grey patina which darkens to a mid-grey at the proximal end.

Worked stone implement probably dating from the Neolithic to Roman period. The object is sub-oval in plan and hexagonal in cross section. The object is symmetrical although has been broken at one side and at the butt end. The cutting edge shows signs of use by rubbing. The object is thickest in the centre and narrows slightly at both ends. The stone has a smooth light brown patina. It is a crudely made object but shows signs of use.

A complete polished stone axehead of Neolithic date (3500 BC – 2100 BC). The axehead is triangular in plan and oval in cross-section. In plan, the butt is pointed but rounded. From the butt the sides flare outwards to the cutting edge. The cutting edge slopes downwards on one side. There is one small chip on the cutting edge. In side view it is pointed oval in shape. The area around the cutting edge has been polished and is very smooth. The stone has a mottled grey/buff appearance and is fine grained.

Flint knife dating from the late Neolithic into Early Bronze Age, C.3200-1800BC. It is oval in plan and sub-triangular in section. Ripples can be seen on both surfaces where it has been worked. The object has some of the characteristics of a type known as Plano-convex knife, though it is not absolutely typical of this type. Types like this are reasonably common in early Bronze Age barrow burials though many have been found unassociated with archaeological features/structures. It has a mid-white mottled patina.

Small piece of grey flint. It is sub-triangular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. The longest edge has been retouched on both sides. Ripples are visible, and get smaller towards the retouched side. It is probably a local flint and could be an atypical chisel, arrowhead or possibly a knife. It appears to be late Neolithic in date.

The dorsal face has a number of ridges where it has been worked. A small amount of the cortex remains on one side of the dorsal face. The ventral face has also been worked and has both ripple marks and radial fissures. There is a small amount of retouching on the outer edges however the object has not been finished. It has a dark greyish black patina.

Struck flint unfinished leaf shaped arrowhead dating to the early Neolithic period, (3500-2900BC). It is leaf shaped in plan. The dorsal face has a number of ridges where it has been worked. A small amount of the cortex remains on one side of the dorsal face. The edges have been retouched and the distal end terminates in a point. The ventral face also contains a small amount of cortex and is very smooth with no ridges. There is a raised rounded bulb of percussion to one side at the proximal end. It has a light white patina.
