A small Neolithic stone axehead. The axe head is wedge shaped with a curved blade. The haft, body and blade edge have all been subject to damage; that on the blade edge appears recent. The axehead is 81mm in length; at the blade end 43mm in width and at the haft end 22mm in width. The stone is greenish blue in colour.

A Neolithic polished stone axehead. The axehead is wedge shaped tapering towards the slightly curved cutting edge. The base of the axehead has suffered slight plough damage. The stone is white to cream in colour. The axehead measures 79mm in length; at the cutting end, the axe has a width of 37mm whilst at the base it measures 25mm in width. The axe is 13mm thick.

The cutting edge is damaged, although it is not clear whether this happened in antiquity. The axehead measures 125mm in length, a maximum of 58mm in width and 30mm in thickness.
