Neolithic polished stone axe fragment, 51mm long, 44mm wide and 14mm thick with a weight of 37.47grams. The fragment represents part of the blade end of an axe, but is very damaged with little original surface remaining. It has part of the curved blade which merges into the adjoining facetted edge, which has a thin angular face butting up to the rounded surface. The axe appears to be Langdale slate (fine grained tuff), so it could be part of a group VI axe.

Late Neolithic to Early Bronze age flint thumbnail scraper, 37mm long, 21mm wide and 9mm thick with a weight of 7.54grams. The object is made from a brown/grey flint and is complete. It has an unusual semi circular shaped with a flat edge, which houses its bulb of percussion at one end. It has steep, invasive re-touch around most of its rounded edge on the dorsal face and has been worked from the ventral face around the bulb.

Possible Neolithic stone axehead, 118mm in length, 41mm in width and 22mm thick with a weight of over 100grams. The object is sub-rectangular in form and has a pointed oval cross section with an orange-brown patina and granular appearance. It has one short end which is slightly wider than the other which thins to a point, probably forming an unfinished blade? the opposite end is rounded and thicker. The remainder of the surface is uneven and worn. We are informed that the stone has been identified as sarson.

The object is sub-rectangular in form and lozenge shaped in cross seection with an orange-brwn patina. It is long and thin with one surface having a crested form and the other being more rounded. It is bi-facially worked with scaled, invase re-toouch. Both ends are rounded, with one being slightly wider than the other. One end of the axe has a angled face forming a cutting edge suggesting that this object was an adze.
