A Neolithic flint knife. The knife is made from a dark-brown coloured flint. It is sub-triangular in plan and has a flat striking platform at the apex. This platform contains a small patch of mottled white-blue cortex. The distal end terminates with a hinge fracture. The dorsal surface contains three large scars. The left hand edge contains long, scaled, low angle retouch. The ventral surface shows a bulb of percussion emminating from the striking platform. At the distal end is a curved ridge containing a series of vertically aligned stress fractures.

Around 75% of the edge contains short, abrupt and sub-parallel retouch.The ventral surface has a bulb of percussion emminating from a flat striking platform. The flint is mid-brown in colour.

A flint knife dating to the Neolithic or early Bronze Age. The knife is made from an elongated flake. The flake is sub-rectangular in plan and triangular in section. The flake has a flat striking platform at the proximal end, and a bulb of percussion on the ventral surface. The dorsal surface has two main flake scars, with smaller ones towards the proximal end. An elongated flint flake. No striking platform is visible at the proximal end, but clear ripples are visible on the ventral surface, extending to a hinge fracture. The dorsal surface comprises two unidirectional parallel scars, with a third running at an angle at the proximal end. A small patch of possible short, scaled, low angled retouch. The flint has a whitish patina. Probably late Mesolithic or Early Neolithic.

A late Neolithic or Bronze Age perforated object, often known as a 'battle axe'. This axe was purchased by a collector and subsequently reported to the Lincolnshire FLO. The object is claimed to have been found in the 1970s somewhere along the Lincolnshire coast. The axe formed part of an 'old collection' for many years prior to reporting. The flint is mid-brown in colour and appears to have invasive, scaled, low angled retouch. This identification has been done from images sent by the finder.

A possible knife or flake made from a flint plunging flake. The striking platform is at the apex, and a clear bulb of percussion expands on the ventral surface from this point. One of the edges adjacent at the apex has what appears to be retouch, but this is irregular and might just be damage. Cortex survives further down this side, and down the entire other side.
