A flint core of probable Neolithic date 4000 BC - 2200 BC. It is a patinated tertiary chunk which is piriform in plan and D shaped in cross-section. It is an irregular core with two striking platforms at right angles to each other. One is at the pointed distal end. The other is the flat ventral face from which the removals forming the rounded proximal end have been worked. The core produced flakes. A flint flake, possibly a core rejuvenation flake or a scraper, but heat altertered and crazed, with some damage, making identifiaction difficult, It is probably Neolithic to Bronze Age in date, 4000 BC - 1000 BC.
