A prehistoric flint waste flake with evidence of retouching probably from the Neolithic or early Bronze age. The flake is an irregular triangular shape and curved in profile. There is no visible bulb of percussion, bulbar scar or striking platform on the ventral face. There is a depression where the flake has been pressure flaked for retouch where the bulb or percussion was visible but is now lost. A prehistoric flint lithic flake with evidence of retouching for uncertain use. The implement is 37.1mm in length. The maximum thickness in the 19mm extending from the tip towards the bulbar scar is 2mm, the bulb of percussion is 6.35mm thick. The artefact is a regular three-sided shape. It features an obvious bulb of percussion, with a large bulbar scar which, due to retouching is now adjacent to the left side on the ventral face. A prehistoric flint waste flake with evidence of retouching for use probably as a scraping tool (Neolithic/Early Bronze Age). The flake is an irregular four-sided shape. It features an obvious bulb of percussion, with a large bulbar scar (c. 18mm long) on the ventral face. The striking platform is visible; each strike was away from the striking platform.
