A Neolithic ground and polished axehead. The implement has been extensively chipped and ground into a long elongated sub-oval shape in plan. The blade edge has a curved forward edge that has been ground and polished to form the cutting edge. From either side of the blade, the sides gently narrow to the rounded butt which is rounded with a pitted appearance probably where this section was not polished. The stone is a dark green colour with creamy speckles. The axe dates from between circa 3500 BC to 2100BC

Flint fabricator that is roughly triangular in cross-section with one high arise on the dorsal side. Multiple direct long, scaled flaking scars on either side of the arise and the forward edge creating a rounded tip. Inverse, short, scaled, flaking scars run down either side of the ventral. Remains of a patina on the left side of the dorsal, that has been partially removed by the retouch, grey flint with lighter patches. The extrimities of this item have been damaged by frost and post-depositional mechanical damage.
