A late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age flint scraper, dating to 4000 - 2350 BC. The scraper has been made from a secondary flake, 20% of the dorsal face is covered with an area of cream/brown cortex. The flint is dark brown. The entire ventral face is unworked nodule cortex. The dorsal face has been worked.The scraper has a plano-convex cross section. On the dorsal face are several large flake scars. A late Neolithic to Early Bronze Age flint discoidal scraper, dating to 4000-2350 BC. Is is made on a tertiary flake of pale grey-brown flint which has flint is patinated to a beige and off-white gloss. It is sub-circular and plano-convex. The bulb of percussion has been removed and there are waves of percussion and hackling on the ventral face. At one edge is the remnant of a hinge fracture from the original flake.
