A complete late Neolithic to Bronze Age stone perforated battleaxe, dating to 2500 - 1800 BC. The axe is broadly triangular in plan. In section the triangular blade narrows sharply to a slightly rounded rectangular butt (rectangular with rounded corners). The axe has a flared blunted crescentic edge. The blade of the battleaxe is on the same alignment (vertical) as the perforation. It is broadly convex in profile and appears complete.
