Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age flint knife, made from blade of opaque Lincolnshire Wolds flint/ Dorsal face flat, showing the use of a soft hammer. Ventral face bears two main facets and at one end is an area of neat retouch, invasive, sub-parallelled, low angle. The knife has been burned and its surfaces are covered with craze-cracking. This burning suggests the presence of a hearth in the immediate area. Length 36.2mm, Width 24.1mm, Thickness 6.0mm, Mass 5.08g.

This object is difficult to date but the crudeness of the working suggests a date in the Late Neolithic or Bronze Age.
