A flint, probable 'backed blade' fabricator of uncertain date, neolithic to Bronze Age date 4000BC-1000BC
Description: The blade is from a tertiary flake, irregularly shaped but thinner at the point/distal end, it is roughly triangular (towards the point/distal end) to trapezoidal (butt/proximal end) in cross-section. The flaking on the dorsal face is long and clear. The 'backing' appears to be down half the right dorsal face part at the proximal end formed by blunting with short scaled abrupt retouch. An incomplete flint back blade likely dating to the Neolithic c. 4000-2200BC.
Description: The blade is irregularly shaped but thinner at the butt/proximal end, it is roughly triangular in cross section. The flaking on the ventral side is long and clear. The backed edge has been intentionally blunted with short scaled abrupt retouch, along the edge of the right side of the ventral edge. There is a small amount of retouch on the broken edge, which has snapped evenly across the width of the blade. The retouch on the break is on the ventral side is short irregularly scaled and abrupt.…

A flint backed blade of likely Neolithic date, c. 4000 - 2200BC.
Description: The blade is a thin rough kite shape widening part way along its length and narrower or pointed at each end. It is roughly low and triangular n cross-section with the dorsal face being the concave face. The left side of the dorsal fas has some short scaled low angle retouch creating the blade.
