An incomplete knapped lithic implement most probably a flint knife or scraper of Neolithic date. The knife is formed on a core which has been bi-facially worked to create a relatively thick oval shaped tool. The working present isn't especially neat or well executed the most reworking is evident on the upper (dorsal ) face. Here the edges of the core have been thinned and a series of short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch has been applied to form a arc shaped cutting and scraping edge. A complete pecked, ground, and polished stone axe / axehead of probable Neolithic date (3500-2100 BC). The axe is worked from a mid greenish grey coloured igneous rock, with large (between 0.5 and 3.5mm) black, grey, and white coloured angular inclusions. There are also a series of prominent black coloured veins that meander across the polished surface of the axe. The source of the stone is unknown - but it most resembles an Olavante dolerite. The flake is broad in plan and thin in cross section. One edge has been reworked using small short stepped abrupt retouch which forms a scraping and serrated cutting edge. One edge is covered by less than 25% white grey coloured cortex. The knapped surface of the artefact is a mid grey mottled colour. The flake measures 25.1mm length, 23.8mm width, is 5.7mm thick and weighs 2.5 grams.

The dorsal face is covered by 100% white grey coloured cortex. The knapped surface of the artefact is a mid grey colour and is slightly crazed through heat damage. An irregular blade like flake of tertiary debitage, probably earlier Neolithic (3500 -2500 BC) in date. In plan the flake is sub-triangular and the ventral face has possibly been retouched with what seem to be even regular steep angled removals- other edges have what looks to be abrupt retouch although given the condition of the flake it is possible that some of this is abrasion through plough roll. The flake is a mid grey colour with areas of white coloured mottling. The flake measures 36.5mm length, 21.0mm width, is 5.5mm thick and weighs 3.27 grams.
