An iron horseshoe dating from the 19th to early 20th century. It is made of wrought iron and is of a heavy cast bar toe clip type, not fullered (grooved) and with calkins at each terminal. There are four rectangular holes on each side to allow iron nails to attach the shoe to the horse's hoof. The remains of one of the nails is still in situ. This horseshoe is quite heavily corroded and has a mainly dark brown patina. Measurements are; length 198.7mm, width 167.9mm, thickness 35.6mm and weight 1148g.

A gold disc, probably part of a late Post Medieval or Modern collar stud or similar dress fitting, dating from AD 1850 - 2000. It is a shallowly domed disc with no decoration. The reverse is concave and is partially covered with a black coating, perhaps an adhesive as there is no other evidence of attachment. There is a flange round the edge which is flatter and uncoated. A copper alloy gilt and enamelled cuff link (or very possibly a button), most likely of Modern dating. This consists of a flat rectangle, on the front of which is a geometric enamelled decoration, and on the back of which are the remains of a central attachment loop, now flattened and corroded.

This object is made of fiverparallel strands of fine wire that are plaited to from a ring shape. The strands have fragmened aweay from the ring in some places.

A cast copper alloy buckle modern date (c.1970).
Description: The frame is sub-rectangular in plan, with slightly inward curving sides. The inside apparture is rectangular and has a recessed central strap bar around which two iron pins are looped. The top of the frame is engraved with the enscription 'Lat de 11°9'N, Long de 60°42'W' across two lines. The bottom of the frame has the enscription 'Anno Domini 1759' across three lines. Both sides of the front of the frame have engraved scrolling decoration.

A copper alloy and iron terminal from the handle of a scale tang knife of later post medieval to modern date. The object has a sheet metal copper end cap which sheaths the edges of the iron on both sides, and joins to a trefoil terminal with incised line decoration on the end. Both broad sides of the object show rusted iron, with copper alloy wire inlay next to a copper alloy rivet at the broken end, which would have created a decorative stalked trefoil motif on either side. It is not clear whether any organic or other material covered the iron.

Description: The seal is circular in plan with a biconvex cross section. Evidence of a possible opening through the body from one edge to the other. One face has a raised number 3 in the centre. The other face has circumferential raised text reading clockwise from 8 o’clock ‘ERSTE OFEN-PESTER’. The two lines in centre read ‘DAMPF / MÜHLEN’ with A.G. at the bottom. Description: The seal is circular in plan with a rectangular cross section. The front is decorated with a stamped design of the crowned Dutch shield bearing the rampant lion of Holland framed within a circumferential inscription: "ROY[AU]ME DE [BELGIQUE]". The reverse is blank. The word "[D]OUANE[S]" (customs) is stamped around the edge of the seal. The surface is a light brown grey colour and is worn.

An incomplete cast lead toy in the form of an elephant from the post-medieval to modern period (AD1800-1900).
The elephant is in a standing position and is missing the two rear legs and the bottom half of the front legs. The trunk is pointing backwards towards the mouth and is broken. There is a carpet or saddle across the elephants back, and a rivet hole in the centre of this.
A similar object can be seen DUR-E97A89 which says ‘This object would have been a toy for a child and was possibly part of a larger set. Elephants were very popular in the Victorian period’.

A copper alloy cap badge, which dates to the first part of the twentieth century. It has a coat of arms, showing the three lions of England on a lined background enclosed in a circular plaque, off which extend three equally spaced features at the top and both sides. This is the main plate of a brooch, lozenge in plan with a central raised section. The outer rim is decorated with a scalloped edge with a pellet in each divot, and a floral decoration at each pointed end. The reverse has the remains of the pin mechanism and catchplate at each end.
