An almost complete cast pewter whistle of probable Modern, nineteenth century date (AD 1800 – AD 1900). Length: 48.7mm; width: 12.2mm and 15.6mm thick. Weight: 19.42g. Part of the upper part of the mouth piece and part of the upper part of the fipple are missing due to old breaks. Most of the suspension loop is also missing due to old breaks. The main body of the whistle is sub-tubular and in the form of a duck’s head and neck.
