A complete rectangular flat-cylindrical cast lead-alloy object with rounded copper alloy insertion possibly for a loop. This object is possibly a home made weight probably relatively modern in date, 19th-20th century. The lead weight is flat in cross-section with a flat base and flattish top. Lead weights are common finds, but only rarely from excavated contexts which is why date and origin are difficult to pinpoint. The length is 40mm, width 22mm, thickness 12mm and weight is 158.80g.

Pewter/white metal cockerel probably associated either with fancy pipe smoking or a toy bubble pipe. Based on parallels between the shape of the bowl and clay pipes it is probably 19th century. The length is 41mm, the width is 34mm, thickness 11mm and the weight is 9.87g. There is an oval shaped hole at the base which is 13mm in length and 9mm wide and a similar hole at the cockerel's tail which is 9mm in length and 5mm wide which is has been crumpled.

Promotional token from Shell Garages early 1970s. One side shows a picture of a 1970 Lamborghini Miura, the other side has the Shell Petroleum logo and some details of the car. This was one of a set of 20 'coins' and dates from 1970. The diameter is 22mm and the weight 1.71g.

A complete copper-alloy post-Medieval to Modern double-looped harness breeching dee (or 'D') fitting (c. 1800-c. 1950). The object has a rectangular head attached to a 'D' shaped ring. This is part of a harness used to join a strap at right angles such that it can control the braking of a carriage or cart. The flat section is sewn into a strap and the D shaped loop used to take a strap off at right angles. Still used today albeit this example has some age.. A copper alloy 'celtic-style' cross. The cross has a pierced ring design surrounding the cross' intersection, joining each of the four arms. The ring and the cross share a common centre. It has knot-work type decoration on the upper surface and mottled hammered finish on the back. There is the remains of a fitting attachment on the back. It has a greenish patina. Possibly medieval but more likely a modern 'Celtic Revival' piece. The length is 45mm, the width is 43mm thickness 3mm and the weight 13.53g.

An early Modern millefiori button. Circular in plan and D shaped in section it is made primarily from glass and the obverse has a millefiori design in mostly blue, white and orange. The reverse has a wire loop inserted into the blue glass which forms the reverse of the button. No parallels can be found, making accurate dating very difficult. However, by the eighteenth century, the technical knowledge for the manufacture of millefiori was lost. It was not until the nineteenth century that a revival of the technique appeared. Silver knot-ring, formed of a triple strand of square sectioned wire, knotted around itself to form a bezel. The diameter is 22mm, thickness 8mm and the weight is 2.20g. This basic style of slip-knotted wire ring had a long life (there are Roman examples) but was perhaps most popular in the 7th century AD, when it was most commonly used on necklaces.
