Copper alloy commemorative medal of Post-Medieval date. The obverse shows a bust with flowing hair facing left and the reverse a standing and a seated figure above an inscription. Unfortunately the finer detail is not clear as the medal is very worn. It is similar in design to the French style, Neuremberg 'show jettons' shown in Mitchiner (1988, pp.508-17), which date to between 1674 and 1702. Diameter: 33.16mm, Thickness: 2.21mm Weight: 11.43g

A copper alloy modern coin with recent graffitti additions. From its size the coin appears to be a halfpenny of Victoria, dating to AD 1838-60, but is so worn and corroded that all detail is now missing. The words 190 GLADDEN are crudely scratched into one face. 190 may be a date, but if so the final digit is missing.

A complete copper alloy probably modern mount or button. It is oval in shape with a flat recessed reverse that has a small hole at either end revealling a hollow interior. The outer face has a moulded rectangle in the centre with two raised transverse lines across one side creating a sewn effect. In the centre of the reverse is a small attachment loop that would have held the item snugly against leather or fabric, suggesting that it was likely to have been a decorative mount or stud rather than a functional button. Its constuction, decoration and fine condition suggest that it may be …

An incomplete copper alloy modern female figurine, probably from a pipe tamper. The figure is standing with her arms up holding the folds of a long flowing dress. Her outfit and hair appear Classical or perhaps east Asian in style, but are also reminiscent of early 20th century fashions perhaps suggesting a similar date for the piece. There is a break at the figure's feet where it was probably attached to the rest of a tamper, although it may also have been part of a spoon or similar object. Several similar pipe tampers featuring female figures in flowing garments and Classical sty…
