An incomplete wooden knife handle of probable Post-Medieval date. It is formed from a single piece of wood that has been hollowed out at one end to produce a circular aperture, now incomplete due to old breaks, that would have enabled attachment to the tang of the blade. The remainder of the handle is of pistol grip form with carved decoration comprising numerous ring and dot motifs that cover the entire exterior surfaces of the handle.
