Two modern copper alloy military buttons, 25mm in diameter and 6mm thick with a weight of 4.50g each.
The buttons are circular in form and semi-circular in cross section and are in good condition. The buttons are hollow and formed of two parts with a central loop attached to the centre of the flat underside. The buttons are decorated with a relief hanging rounded bugle enclosed in a solid raised border with the inscription FIRST LEICESTERSHIRE RIFLE VOLUNTEERS around the edge.
