A small bar of iron of unknown date and function. The bar is sub-rectangular in plan and trapezoid in section. It is slightly narrower and thicker at one end than the other, measuring 17mm x 6mm, tapering to 15mm x 7mm. The surface is corroded, but possible decoration is seen at one end where the corrosion is thinner. Kevin Leahy suggests that this item is cast, indicating an 18th or 19th century date.
