A Post-Medieval to Modern copper-alloy watch winder, dating to AD 1881 - 1941. The object is sub rectangular with three concave sides and one convex, in the centre of the convex side is a protruding, flaring cylindrical knop. At the opposing edge is a thinner cylindrical shaft. The main body is inscribed on both faces with raised lettering. One side reads KENDAL/&/DENT/WATCH/MAKER. The other: 106/CHEAPSIDE/LONDON.
