A complete copper alloy Jewellery clasp of Modern date (AD 1800-1900). The object is rectangular in plan and is composed of two plates and spacer. The upper terminal has four circular perforations which would have allowed a string to be attach the string, while the other end has a narrow, rectangular slot with a small notch at the centre; for where the folded metal plate would have been inserted to secure the fastening.
