A Post Medieval to Modern piece of rolled clay. The object is made from a sub circular piece of clay which has been rolled into a cylinder. The object bears the stippled inscription '1547' and below this 'H Rex'. This has been looked at by Roy Stephenson who thinks it is unlikely to date from the 16th century and probably is of a modern date.

Henry VIII (AD 1491-1547) died in January 28th 1547 and it is possible that this object in some personal way commemorates this event.
