A group of 23 fragments of mostly medieval and post-medieval hammered coins, 6 complete hammered coins and 1 milled coin spanning the reigns of John (1199-1216) to William III (1689-1702) and two post-medieval clay pipes all found in close association. Coins total weight 15.33g  clay pipe 2.49g in weight. Discussion: This group of coin is heavily mixed both in denominations, dates and preservation. An iron framed composite rimfire percussion cap single shot pistol of 19th century date. Possibly a Flobert style gallery gun/saloon/parlor gun dating c.1845-1900. Description: The pistol is heavily corroded with only the iron components left. The grip's organic parts are missing leaving it a thin openwork half crescent. The handle is integral to the frame of the pistol. The trigger is mostly missing due ot corrosion with no evidence of a trigger guard remaining. A very worn and corroded machine pressed copper-alloy modern button cover or cap badge element probably of late19th or early 20th century date, representing the regimental motif of the Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment). Description: The object survives as a corroded round disc with a crowned rose stamped on it. Around this is the now mostly illegible motto 'HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE'. A complete mould produced ceramic Diya of modern date Description: The dish is very small and shallow with a simple undecorated rim, with a short pouring lip set along it. The warped pewter bowl from a modern tobacco pipe shaped whistle dating to the late 19th century. Description: The fragment represents the bowl and part of the stem of the pipe. An incomplete gilt-silver filigree cross pendant or rosary cross of late Post-Medieval to modern date, possibly Art Nouveau style, c.1810-1910. Description: The cross has large teardrop shaped arms formed from coiled filigree wire. There are quarter circles of wire in each quarter of the arms, forming a rough border around the centre of the cross. A silver gauntleted hand. The thumb and first two fingers are slightly opened, possibly to hold something, while the third and fourth fingers are curled into the fist. The top side of the hand and fingers are etched with a series of parallel lines to imitate flexible, scaled armour. A line of punched dots runs from the wrist over the knuckle of the first finger to give an impression of where the "armour" would join. The bowl of a very late Post-medieval or modern (AD 1822- c.1950) clay, fired mould made short 'cutty' type pipe in the form of a buffalo's head issued by the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes.
