Modern gold finger ring formed of a sexfoil bezel and hoop of multiple twised wires. The bezel is flat with a raised rim and raised collet in the centre. The collet has multiple small triangular projections around the top rim which are bent over a faceted pink stone to hold it in place. The inner point of each indent between each petal is decorated with a pellet and the front of the flower bezel, around the collet is decorated with multple raised dots formed from the background metal. The back of the bezel is plain.

Hollow gold finger ring decorated with incised lines and now slightly squashed. A photograph of the ring has been examined by curators at the British Museum who suggest (pers comm 13/02/2018) it post-dates 1718 and therefore does not need to reported under the Treasure Act 1996.
The ring is D-shaped in cross section and circular in plan although now squashed and distorted in places.
